Bodyguard is real pine trim, treated and primed to give it the performance and durability characteristics of PVC while retaining the lightness, stiffness, and workability of wood. All Bodyguard trim is FSC certified and sourced from sustainable plantation forests. The all-organic, EPA-approved treatment is insoluble in water and therefore not prone to leaching. The treatment gives wood greater durability and an extended service life because it is impervious to rot and insects and more stable than untreated wood.
